Verification - Carbon Forestry

Project Scope (value of property or credit yield):

• Small <$NZD10 million
• Medium <$NZD20 million
• Large >$NZD20 million

 

Verification Criteria:

• Accurate property or project identity
• Compliance with Government Emissions Trading Scheme rules
• Compliance with voluntary credit trading scheme rules
• Physical location, age, species composition, and health of forest
• Nature of forest stewardship
• Accuracy of carbon credit yield projections by unit (eg. NZU or VVCC®)

 

Verification Limitations:

• Information provided by client
• Desk-top assessment only
• Site visit at additional charge
• GreenXperts retains the right to cancel or withdraw any verification without payment of compensation if information supplied is incorrect, a substantial change to the property or project verified occurs and is not advised by the client, or an event occurs that requires change the Verification system
• At least two weeks' notice will be given if a verification is to be cancelled or withdrawn. The client will be given reasonable time to take corrective action to meet the standards of the verification criteria where required to prevent cancellation

 

Fees:

We reserve the right to advise the client of additional fees if the scope of the Verification required is beyond our standard service specification.

Verification fee excludes GST and is non-refundable.

Fee paid upon commission.

Professional services are carried out in accordance with our standard Contract.
