Further RENA Scheme Standards for other types of voluntary carbon credits are in preparation and will be listed here once complete. Default GHG standards are ISO 14064-2 (2019) for verification and ISO 14064-3 (2019) for validation, and the New Zealand Government Guidelines for Voluntary Emission Reductions 2022. The verifier and validator cannot be the same organisation, and must be suitably-qualified. RENA's approved biodiversity credit standard is BSI Flex 702.
